How healers are confusing money (and why it won’t show up)

In my practice, I work with a lot of healers: Energy healers, osteopaths, life coaches, and so on. No matter what the modality, I find we all do some funny, funny things when it comes to receiving what we say we want in the area of money.

Ah, yes… Money.

Love it, hate it, but you’ve decided you need some more of it to have the life, living, and healing practice that you truly desire.

If you’ve already asked for more money and it hasn’t shown up yet, you probably have a push/pull relationship to money.

“I want it, but I don’t want to want it TOO much, cause that’s bad.”

But when that happens, you can’t see – and then clear – the crappy beliefs that are in the way of you having more money.

Its like this: you say, “I want more money”, so the universe aligns to that and now will show you anything that is stopping you from having that.

But then you say,“Well I don’t want money TOO badly, that isn’t good”.

And now the Universe is confused.

Should it show you what’s in the way of having more money, or should it show you how to not want it too badly?

Imagine this like a new relationship. You call them up and say, “Hi, I’d love to take you on a date Friday night. But not like I NEED to take you on a date, but you know, it would be okay. But not TOO okay, you know what I mean?”

How would that person respond?

They would be confused.

So, you have 2 options:

1.     You can stop wanting money so badly, go the Buddhist path, and truly become okay if it comes or not. You can just let it go.

Or

2.     Go for it with gusto, love, passion, full out action and energy. Then clear whatever comes up that’s in the way of you having it.

I recently had a session with a woman who has been a healer for years. She tried the first approach for many years, but it didn’t seem to matter how much she meditated, she couldn’t let go of the desire to have a life and living of greater abundance than she was. So finally, RELUCTANTLY, I helped her to truly go for it. And we kept clearing and clearing and clearing. Within 24 hours she had 3 new clients and over $400 extra in sales.

So, go for it! Have your desire, and instead of trying to block out the hurt that might come, allow it into your reality, and clear the beliefs that get triggered. Keep doing the work and create that abundance you’ve been looking for. You can have a financially sustainable healing practice – just be clear about what you’re asking for.
